Mazda Crew Epic Meet
The First Annual South Florida Mazda Crew Epic Meet held this past weekend at Lou Bachrodt Mazda in Coconut Creek was a very pleasant success more than doubling the projected attendance with Mazdas spanning all the way from a classic RX2 to brand new 2010 Mazdaspeed editions.
The meet was very well organized attracting not just
Mazda enthusiasts, but many vendors as well including XS Energy Drinks, Emerald Performance, Velocity Factor, Jackson Racing, Pettit Racing, and even demo editions
of the yet to be released 2011 Ford Fiesta.
Some of the more unique cars in attendance was a 3rd gen RX7 with a 3 rotor 20B that certainly appeared to be daily driven alongside an excellent showing of beautiful
RX7s from mild to wild. Another rarity was an MX3 swapped with a 2.5L V6 turbocharged engine boasting both good looks and speed all in a daily driven
package. It was hard to tell if the car was a restoration or a race car as it seemed to pull off the best of both worlds. All in all there were over 100 cars in
attendance packing the dealership parking lot and creating such a show that random people were pulling in off the street to see what the show was all about.
Many thanks to the organizer, Reyan, and Lou Bachrodt Mazda for providing an excellent venue for this, and many more events to come. Great times were had by
all, it’s an event not to me missed.
